Helping Customers Better Navigate Banking.
Danielle Cast is always seeking out new adventures––and that pretty much sums up her personality, as well as her perspective on the job. She’s hiked some of the most treacherous trails in the U.S., backpacked around Europe, gone scuba diving and sky diving, and she’s spent the past year and a half enthusiastically training Bank customers to be able to best utilize our services.
According to the well-traveled Danielle, “There is nowhere else I’ve been where a customer walks in a bank and is greeted as a long-time friend––even if they are brand new to town.” But that’s just the kind of service Danielle gives at Farmers & Merchants Bank.
It’s her job to go the extra mile every day to make customers’ lives better and easier. She helps them navigate, set up and troubleshoot Bank products, such as text alerts for monitoring their accounts, automatic Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, the Debit Card On/Off feature, checking accounts, you name it.
Danielle has worked in the banking world for a total of four years, and the two years prior to that she worked for the United States Postal Service, where she learned that nothing should get in the way of delivering excellent service. She studied at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln for seven years, first in Physics, then in Secondary Education.
Adventures in Fun.
Even when she has spare time, Danielle makes it a point to connect with folks in adventurous ways. She loves to be outdoors socializing with family and friends, and can usually be found playing sand volleyball, out hiking, running a local 5K or joining a game of pickle ball.
Danielle also enjoys supporting volunteer fire departments by attending local street dances, and she volunteers with the TeamMates Mentoring Program in Milford. She’s been able to meet so many great people and is always looking to meet more––there’s always another adventure!
