A Professional Optimist

While some see a glass half-full, Heidi is a glass all-full type of person. For the past 25 years, she’s greeted customers at our Weeping Water location with a welcoming smile and contagious can-do attitude. It’s no secret that Heidi loves people. In fact, she says her favorite part of her job is building relationships with customers.

As the Customer Service Representative Supervisor, Heidi realizes her own job is affected by the positive attitude of the team around her. “Everyone works together toward a common goal,” she says. “There’s always someone patting you on the back or offering a hand when you need assistance. It’s a good feeling.”

When it comes to one-on-one customer service, Heidi believes in adding a personal touch. That includes honesty, kindness and treating people with lots of respect. What makes the Bank so special in her opinion is the community-small town feel combined with many of same amenities as the “big” banks.

Before coming to us, Heidi was a jack of all trades in different customer-service focused roles. She developed her customer service expertise by spending time in the hospitality industry, as well as working with disabled students at Omaha Public Schools.

Sowing the Seeds of Happiness

Outside of the office, family comes first. Heidi has a green thumb and especially loves to dig in the garden with her granddaughter, Ryley. When she and her husband are not helping out at fundraisers and community activities, you’ll often find them on long weekend trips exploring the open roads from the back of their Harley.
