January’s Smart Business: Milford Pharmacy

Milford’s One-Stop Hometown General Store.

Now in their 20th year of business, the Milford Pharmacy is a genuine fixture in downtown Milford. It’s where area residents go, not only for their prescriptions and medical supplies, but for candles, gifts, and antiques.

Charlie and Angie Pierce own Milford Pharmacy, and their lives revolve around the store. Charlie manages the store and Angie is a certified pharmacy tech. If you have been into the pharmacy, you have worked with the Pierces.

They’re committed to providing fast, friendly service at affordable prices. Even for those without insurance, the Pierces encourage them to reach out to Milford Pharmacy for a quote before going to a chain store. Chances are they can get you a better deal.

That’s because the Pierces believe in the store’s mission as a health services provider and pillar of the community and have actively resisted the high prices charged by some national chains.

“We treat all of our customers with respect and compassion,” said Charlie, “And we strive to keep our prices affordable.”

With more than 30 years of retail experience and a degree from the University of Wyoming’s School of Pharmacy, Charlie is a genuine expert in pharmacy services. When he and Angie aren’t at the store, they enjoy attending Milford High School games and fine arts events.

The Pierces and Milford Pharmacy have been Farmers and Merchants Bank customers since they started their business. We’re proud to be a part of their continued success, and to help support a local business that is so important to our community.
