Kurt Kiesel, Loan Development Officer
From Classroom to Community.
Kurt Kiesel has spent most of his life showing up for other people. After high school, he served three years in the Army as a communications center operator. Then came 34 years of teaching and coaching at Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools. While banking is a newer chapter, the through line hasn’t changed. At FMB, he’s here to listen, to encourage learning, and to help people get where they want to go.
As a loan development officer, Kurt takes time to understand what a customer needs before he ever talks about solutions. And because he spent 34 years making complicated things easier to understand, he’s well-suited to help our customers feel confident about their financial decisions. That’s the kind of experience FMB looks for, and we see it in how Kurt shows up to work every day.
All In on Wilber.
Kurt doesn’t just work in Wilber. He’s woven into it. You’ll find him at St. Wenceslaus Church, active in the Knights of Columbus, shopping locally, and running lights and sound at the outdoor theater during Czech Days.
At home, Kurt stays busy with woodworking, DIY projects, and cooking alongside his wife, Sandee. And while he considers himself a true Nebraskan who bleeds Husker Red, he’ll admit he was born in upstate New York—but hey, nobody’s perfect!
