Did you know you can set up travel notifications through your phone for when you’re traveling within the United States? This saves you the time of calling or coming into the bank to let us know your travel plans.
Banks tend to take note of your usual spending habits to know when to flag fraudulent activity. Maybe you love grabbing a coffee every morning or you go on a small online shopping spree once a month. However, when you spend outside of your usual pattern, that’s when a red flag is raised.
Before you travel, use the travel notifications feature so you can continue to spend as needed and avoid your purchases being flagged as fraud.
How to enter travel notifications:
- Log into your account through Internet Banking
- Select the card you want travel notifications on
- Enter the location
- Enter the beginning and ending travel dates
- Done! You’ll now get travel notifications as an alert on the card
